Presentations for Business & Organizations
Social Media Policy
Are you a business, Not for Profit, Sports Team or Volunteer group that uses Social Media, then our “Social Media Policy, Procedure and Code of Conduct Primer presentation is a must-have for your organization. In today’s world, social media has changed the way in which employers and employees interact with others both inside and outside of the workplace. Social Media has blurred the lines between one’s personal and professional life, and how one’s use of social media can either positively or negatively affect an organization’s reputation (branding), business interests and workplace environment. This blurring has also led to employers being sued, employees being disciplined, in some cases fired, all because of their social media use both on and off the job. This program will provide information needed to reduce liability and will recommend best practices specific to policy, procedure and codes of conduct, to help protect both the employer and employee.

Internet and Social Media Invesitgations Workshops
This 8hr training workshop will provide the information and basic skills needed to develop administrative and investigational best practices when dealing with student/employee based Social Media conflict or online critical incidents. We bring over 30yrs of law enforcement based investigative experience, as well as 6 Open Source Intelligence and Social Media investigation certifications to the design of this program. This training will survive the scrutiny of a parent, board of inquiry or a court of law, and encourages a coordinated incident response between the police, the school, the school district and other professionals that deal with conflict as it relates to social media and the Internet. Given that the design of our program is based upon the premise “principles stay the same diverse in application”, this training will also “dovetail” nicely into any school or workplace threat assessment model.
